Shipping policy
Our mission is to bring the freshness of our fields straight to your home. To make sure that every orange and every jar of jam arrives in perfect condition, we apply strict and careful logistics.
1. Harvesting and guaranteed freshness
- "Just in time" harvesting: our citrus fruit is picked on the same day it is shipped or, at the latest, in the previous 24 hours.
- Weather exceptions: in the event of heavy rain or adverse weather, harvesting may be slightly delayed. This lets us check that the goods are sound: picking wet citrus fruit would compromise how well it keeps during the journey.
2. Shipping calendar
To avoid the goods sitting in logistics depots over the weekend, we follow this pattern:
- Fresh products (citrus fruit): shipped from Monday to Wednesday only.
- Long-life products (oil, jams): shipments continue until Friday.
- Destinations: we ship throughout Italy and Europe with the express couriers BRT and SDA.
3. Shipping costs and methods
At checkout the system automatically calculates the cost of shipping and packaging based on the total weight of the order.
- Free shipping: offered on various products, such as the boxes, valid for standard shipments.
- Custom quotes: for large volume orders or particular logistics needs, please contact us directly by email or WhatsApp.
4. Cash on delivery payment
We offer the option of paying on delivery with the following surcharges:
- Orders up to €200.00: fixed surcharge of €4.00.
- Orders above €200.00: surcharge of 3% of the order total.
Important note on cash on delivery: refusing delivery for invalid reasons, such as a change of mind that was not communicated or being unreachable for a long period, causes serious harm because the goods are perishable. If delivery is refused, we reserve the right to charge the customer the full cost of the goods, the shipping costs, any storage costs and the cost of disposing of a product that can no longer be sold.
5. Specialist packaging
We use boxes designed specifically for transporting fresh farm products. The structure of our packaging is designed to:
- Allow the citrus fruit to breathe properly.
- Give bottles and jars the greatest possible protection against impacts.
- Protect the contents from temperature swings.
6. Receiving the goods and claims
At the time of delivery, the customer must check the condition of the parcel.
- If there is visible damage: accept the parcel writing on the courier's receipt the words "ACCETTO CON RISERVA" (accepted with reservation), stating the reason, for example "wet box" or "crushed parcel".
- Reports: any problems must be reported within 24 hours of delivery, attaching clear photographic evidence of the packaging and the products, so that we can proceed with a refund or a replacement.
