Product description

Candied citrus peels are the part of the orange that is usually thrown away. 🍊 Here, instead, they become the product: they are cut into strips, blanched to remove bitterness, and then slowly candied in several stages.

Slow candying makes all the difference. The sugar is absorbed gradually, and the peel remains soft instead of becoming glassy. It takes days, but it's the only way to get a candied peel that can be eaten on its own.

Product storage

Store the package in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources and direct light. Unopened, it keeps until the date indicated on the package.

Once opened, seal the bag tightly or transfer to an airtight container, always at room temperature. It is air that makes them harden, not time.

If the peels dry out too much, an hour in a closed container with a slice of fresh orange will restore their moisture.
