Product description

Limoncello is just lemon peel left in alcohol. 🍋 No juice, no flavorings: the color and aroma all come from the essential oils in the peel, which transfer into the alcohol within a few days.

We use untreated Sicilian lemons, because the peel must be used whole and needs to be clean. After infusion, sugar syrup is added, and the liqueur rests before being bottled.

Product storage

Keep the unopened bottle in a cool, dark place, upright and not on its side. Alcohol is self-preserving, so there is no real expiration date, but light causes it to lose color and aroma.

Once opened, keep it in the freezer. Alcohol does not freeze, and the liqueur becomes thick, which is the proper way to serve it. It will keep in the freezer for months without losing its aroma.

If you keep it in the refrigerator instead of the freezer, that's fine too, but consume it within a few months.
