Product description

Capuliato is chopped sun-dried tomatoes. 🍅 The name comes from the dialect, from *capuliari*, which means to chop. It originated in southeastern Sicily as a way to preserve sun-dried tomatoes all year round and use them without having to soak them.

It is a granular and strong condiment: two teaspoons are enough for a pasta dish for two. It contains 60 percent sun-dried tomatoes, basil, garlic, and oil, and nothing else.

Product storage

Before opening, store the jar in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources and direct light. Unopened, it keeps until the date indicated on the lid.

After opening, keep it in the refrigerator and consume within ten days. Level the surface and cover it with a layer of oil to prevent it from drying out.

Always use a clean, dry spoon.
