Product description

Sun-dried tomatoes are July's sunshine, bottled up. 🍅 They are picked ripe, halved, salted, and laid out in the sun until they lose their water. What remains is a concentrated flavor, ten times stronger than fresh tomatoes.

The drying process is natural, not oven-dried. It takes days and requires constant attention, as a single thunderstorm can ruin an entire batch. Afterwards, the tomatoes are seasoned with salt, garlic, and basil, then preserved in oil.

Product storage

Before opening, store the jar in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources and direct light. When closed, it keeps until the date indicated on the lid.

After opening, keep it refrigerated and consume within ten days. Make sure the tomatoes always remain covered with oil: any oil that rises to the surface will dry out and mold. If necessary, top up with more oil.

Always use a clean and dry fork.
